I do not have a ton to say about card boxes. You need one or something for your guests to put cards in. When your guests arrive they want to get their card off their hands so they don't forget or so they do not have to hold onto it. So you want to make it visible when guests arrive at your reception. Having it visible also makes everyone feel at ease that no one is going to walk off with it in plain site. The size is important. If you are having a wedding around 100 guests or less, any of these card boxes will work. If you have a larger guest count you should consider getting something larger or designating someone to empty the box throughout the night. Ask your venue ahead of time for a safe place to store them. Make sure you establish a person to be "in charge" of the cards and to take them at the end of the night. A lot of families get nervous about the cards. (The images are clickable to Amazon links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.) But who says it has to be a box? You can use a basket or something you already have at home. You can use this as an opportunity to personalize your wedding. I had a couple that liked to fly fish together, so I got a fly fishing basket for their cards. I used a vintage suitcase for a globetrotting couple. You could use a vintage mailbox, a large lantern, a bird cage, or a barrel. It is an added bonus if it is something you can repurpose in your home after the wedding!
So get creative and find something fun. Or if you don't have time for that, just order a box from Amazon!
